Selected words take priority, then selected verses. With no selection, Dove uses the whole chapter.

Generated explanations need compatible Apple Intelligence-enabled hardware and Apple’s on-device model to be available. Apple controls model installation and availability. Built-in reading guidance remains available when generation is unavailable. There is no cloud AI fallback.

Uncached audio is generated locally. Recent audio is saved for quicker replay in a rolling cache of up to 200 MB. Clearing the cache removes saved audio, not reflections.

World English Bible (WEB) and King James Version (KJV) in English, and Reina-Valera 1909 in Spanish. Reina-Valera 1909 is its own edition—not a Spanish version of WEB or KJV.

Export an encrypted journal backup, keep its passphrase, and retain every numbered part for large journals. Every part is needed for complete recovery. Restore merges notes and progress. Dove cannot recover a forgotten passphrase.

Export and preserve a usable encrypted backup first. The journal is not automatically synced through CloudKit or included in device backups.

Delete individual reflections in the app. Uninstalling removes local app data. Manage any exported or shared copies separately with the recipients or providers you chose.
